THE PUBLICATION
Editorial standards
The evidence and responsibility should be visible.
Scope and bylines
Pets & Vet publishes operational analysis for people running animal care businesses alongside an older pet-care archive. A Pets & Vet byline identifies publication-level authorship; it does not claim a named veterinarian or clinical reviewer.
New AI-assisted articles disclose that assistance and link to the sources checked. Human editorial and specialist reviewer assignments remain pending. New clinical treatment guidance will require qualified review before publication.
Evidence and interpretation
Sources should support the specific claims made. Official guidance, research, supplied announcements and editorial interpretation should be distinguishable. Readers should check the source jurisdiction, date and relevance to their own work.
Commercial boundaries
Advertising, sponsorship and affiliate relationships must be disclosed. A placement does not imply endorsement, clinical approval or favourable coverage. Audience and performance figures are not represented as verified until measured.
AI assistance and archive status
AI-assisted analysis is labelled. We do not invent expert identities, quotations or case outcomes. Archive publication dates remain visible; an older article appearing in a topic list does not indicate a current clinical review.
Corrections
Use the corrections route to raise concerns. Material factual changes should be dated and explained on the article.
