Pet ownership is becoming a more common pastime for those with means, and for good reason. Pets are wonderful companions that can bring so much joy and love into their lives. So why not share the love by getting your own pet? It’s a great way to build your home and have someone who feels like family.

However, before you go out and get a dog, cat, rabbit, or any other type of pet for that matter, make sure you’re prepared for it. If you don’t have the space and time to take care of one just yet, then perhaps wait until you do.

However, if you do have the time and resources available to take care of an animal as their sole companion, then there are many benefits to having one too! They’re fun to play with, often trainable, adorable to look at (and hold) and they make fantastic watchdogs too. Here are some of the cutest celebrity pets around today:

Olivia Wilde’s Cat, Otis

Otis is a black-and-white domestic short-hair cat owned by actress Olivia Wilde. Otis was rescued from a shelter when he was just a little over a year old. He loves to play fetch and spends a lot of time resting on top of his favorite blanket. Otis loves to sleep in bed with his owner, but he’s also known to make himself at home on the couch or even on the floor.

He loves to take naps on top of Wilde’s head, especially in the morning when his owner is getting ready. Otis loves to explore, especially if Wilde is going somewhere new. He enjoys playing fetch, but he’s also a bit of a couch potato too. He loves to sit on Wilde’s shoulders while she watches TV or reads a book.

Otis also enjoys hiking and going on adventures with Wilde. He’s a very curious kitty who loves to explore. He was even spotted exploring the local rock climbing wall! Otis also enjoys brushing him, grooming him, and hanging out with Wilde’s dog, Harley.

Mila Kunis’s Dogs, Henry and Wally

Actress Mila Kunis owns two dogs, Henry and Wally. Henry is a black Labrador Retriever and Wally is a yellow Lab. Kunis adopted Henry from a family who had several dogs and he was the runt of the litter. He was really neglected and underweight at the time, but Kunis nursed him back to health and they quickly became best friends.

Henry is a very protective dog and is always by Kunis’s side. He has done some work as a service dog and also attends some public events to help spread awareness about animal welfare issues. Kunis adopted Wally, a yellow Lab, from the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Southern California when she was going through her divorce.

Like Henry, he was also a runt and in bad shape when she brought him home. Kunis nursed him back to health and, like Henry, they quickly became best friends too. The two dogs love to go on walks together and Kunis enjoys spending time with them when she has free time.

George Clooney’s Cat, Moggy

George Clooney is known for his love of animals and especially cats, so it should come as no surprise that he has one, Moggy. The two met when Moggy was just a few months old and Clooney just happened to be walking past the pet store where she was being sold. The pet store had no idea who he was, but luckily he did. The two have been inseparable since then and have been together for over 20 years.

The two have even starred in movies together and have appeared together on many different shows. Moggy was born in England and was a gift for Clooney from his mentor and friend, Sally Field. Clooney has said that there’s nothing he loves more than being with her and that he would do anything for her.

The two have appeared in many different movies together, including Murder on the Orient Express, Oceans 12, and The Descendants. They have also shared the screen on many different shows including Live with Kelly and Michael, and ER.

Emma Watson’s Owl, Phoenix

Actress Emma Watson adopted a red-tailed hawk owl named Phoenix. Phoenix is a female, which makes her a girl owl, and she was taken in by the charity Wings of Hope when she was just a few weeks old. Wings of Hope helps to rescue and care for owls that were either injured or orphaned by humans. Phoenix is a very friendly owl and loves attention.

She loves to be petted, held, and even given treats. Watson likes to spend time with Phoenix at home and has even made a few appearances with her at charity events. Phoenix is a very intelligent owl and is able to learn new tricks quickly.

Phoenix can recognize her human hand gestures, and she even tries to get Watson to give her food when she recognizes the gesture. Phoenix can also do tricks like spinning and cartwheels. Phoenix always wants to be with Watson and loves to be petted when she’s not doing anything else.

Blake Lively’s Cats, Siamese Twins

Actress Blake Lively has been very open about her love for animals, especially cats. So it’s no surprise that she has two Siamese cats, named Ming and Mo. The two were adopted from a local shelter and were pregnant at the time. Lively said that when she saw them she almost didn’t want to take them home because they were so ugly. The reality is they are very beautiful cats and just happen to have Siamese traits, with one being a seal-point and the other a chocolate-point.

Like most Siamese cats, Ming and Mo love to play. They love laser games and are always looking for ways to amuse themselves. Lively enjoys watching her cats play, especially Ming, who is a bit mischievous. She loves climbing on things, knocking things over, and pretending to attack Ming while she’s sleeping.

Jamie Foxx’s Dog, Bam Bam

Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx has an amazing dog named Bam Bam. Foxx was going to get a rottweiler before Bam Bam came into his life and changed everything. Foxx says that he used to be very dark and pessimistic, but now he’s very happy and optimistic.

Foxx says that Bam Bam is a very special dog because he’s the only one who can lick Foxx’s face the way that only a dog can. Bam Bam is a very loving and affectionate dog. He loves to be around people and especially loves to be around his owner. Foxx says that Bam Bam is like a child to him and has a very unique personality.

Conclusion

There are many benefits to having a pet, but most people don’t realize just how important it is to take care of an animal properly. If you don’t provide food, water, shelter, and plenty of love and attention, your pet could end up in need of help.

Fortunately, these celebrities have taken good care of their pets and have taught them to be loyal and loving companions. They’ve shown us that it’s important to feed and water our animals properly, shelter them from the elements, and show them, love when they need it most.
